Gets it wrong!
The reporter Jamie McGuiness wrote an article (Remembrance Day 2007) listing Kent's war dead. We regret to advise that the published list of only 12 men was incomplete! There are in fact presently 16 Kent connected casualties. We emailed the paper and drew their attention to the facts. Jamie McGuiness told us "the published list was not meant to be a definative list" Very lame excuses for some very sloppy and rushed work. If this was true then why was this not clearly and prominently stated in the published article? He should have taken more care putting this story together. It's not rocket science that some families might be offended if their loved ones were missed off a tribute which clearly gives the impression the list is indeed definative.
